NaviQ Overview
The role of NaviQ across Pulse and the difference between AI interpretation and source data.
Illustrative interface preview for documentation. It demonstrates the feature layout and workflow; it is not a live market-data snapshot and does not represent a specific user account.
What NaviQ does
NaviQ is Pulse’s account-aware analytical assistant. Public questions about markets and investing do not require access to private user data. When a signed-in user asks about their portfolio, cash flow, Financial Health, debt, financial goals, saved reports, market alerts, Chart Lab, Cortex or MATRIX, NaviQ retrieves relevant Pulse records server-side using the signed-in account ID. It produces a grounded summary, prioritized observations or an on-demand report and links to the relevant workspace. NaviQ explicitly identifies empty or unavailable sources. Market data and stored account entries have different timestamps and neither should be described as a live observation without verification.
Core uses
- Explain current market or chart conditions in plain language
- Review technical and macro context
- Summarize news and potential market impact
- Interpret a selected Pulse Radar trader from source-grounded public fields
- Add or remove supported chart indicators and drawings through structured actions
- Show calculated support and resistance on the chart
- Create reviewable workflows and reports through NaviQ Agent Center
- Answer questions about a signed-in user’s actual saved holdings, financial profile, monthly cash flow, debt, goals, alerts and saved work
- Generate an on-demand financial summary or portfolio review in chat and explain evidence-backed options
- Provide account-evidence status and direct links to the Pulse workspaces where actions can be confirmed
AI limitations
NaviQ can make mistakes. A missing holding is not a zero-dollar holding; cost basis is not market value; a missing financial profile is Unknown, not healthy. When records are missing or a source fails, NaviQ cannot claim a completed personal assessment. On-demand chat reports are displayed in the chat and are not automatically saved to a permanent report library. NaviQ chat is read-only: it cannot silently trade, alter holdings, create alerts, change accounts, or send financial instructions. Users must review and explicitly confirm changes in their designated Pulse workflows. Personal account questions require a signed-in session and are scoped to that account.
