Financial Health Score

Pulse computes the Financial Health Score only from categories backed by actual user-provided observations. At 0% completeness, the score remains Unknown and the only personalized next action is to provide or confirm the required financial evidence. The Financial Health setup checklist guides household profile, monthly income and expenses, debt review and emergency fund confirmation; goals and holdings can be added separately. Missing inputs never count as measured zeros or establish a healthy financial condition. For partially completed data, displayed risk or action conclusions are qualified by coverage.

Action Plan

At zero score coverage, Action Plan shows the evidence-collection checklist instead of empty-state reassurance or dismissible financial advice. When there are actual observations, substantiated risks retain priority even if other categories remain unavailable. Blank net income, spending, liquid savings and debt APR fields must be explicitly entered (enter 0 when genuinely confirmed). A data-source failure is treated as unavailable rather than an empty or healthy financial profile.

Start Action and task completion

For a missing-evidence priority task, Start Action closes the detail dialog and takes the user to the first missing required input: household profile, cash flow, debt review (including an explicit no-debt confirmation), or emergency-fund evidence. The target form or control is brought into view with keyboard focus. A plain-language instruction replaces the old dash shown for actions without a monetary amount. Data-quality tasks cannot be manually marked complete or dismissed; their status is reconciled automatically after required financial records are saved and reloaded. A legacy prematurely completed task can reopen if its evidence remains missing. Other financial actions open their relevant section and retain their separate user-managed action statuses.
